
Alec’s soccer career showcases his dedication and numerous achievements.
He played four years for Villanova University as an outside midfielder where he was a 4 year scholarship athlete, following a successful high school career at Harriton High School where he was a four-year starter, x2 team captain, team MVP, and a first-team All-Central League selection.
In 2017, Alec represented the USA as the starting forward in the Open Men’s Maccabi Soccer tournament, earning a gold medal. He scored two goals and had four assists, including a crucial tying goal against Israel’s U23 national team in the semifinals.
Alec played for Lower Merion Soccer Club, later FC Delco, from the Under 8 age group through Under 19. His teams achieved significant success, including two national runner-up finishes, five Region One USA championships, and eight state championships.
In 2023, Alec played for the Maccabi Team USA men’s Open Soccer team at the Pan Am Games as a starting outside back.
His early achievements include being the starting center-mid for the 2004 Philadelphia Maccabi Soccer team.
Alec’s club soccer accolades include being an 8-time EPYSA State Champion, a 5-time Region 1 Champion, and a 2-time National Finalist. He also excelled in track, serving as team captain and MVP, and earning titles as District 1 Champion in the 300 and 110 Hurdles, as well as being a state finalist in the 300 hurdles in 2009.
With extensive coaching experience at the Lower Merion Soccer Club, Alec led youth club teams to various victories, including the 2018 EPYSA State Cup Championship.
He continues to play recreationally with the Casa League and the Philadelphia Unity Cup.
