Being inducted into the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame is both humbling and deeply meaningful to me. Baseball has been one of the great passions of my life. It has taught me lessons about discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and respect—values that are also deeply rooted in Judaism. To be recognized for something that has brought me so much joy, while at the same time being honored as a member of the Jewish community, makes this recognition especially significant.
One of the highlights of my athletic career was representing the United States on the Maccabi fast-pitch softball team and later being inducted into the Maccabi Fast Pitch Hall of Fame in Israel. Wearing “USA” across my uniform and competing alongside Jewish athletes from around the world strengthened my appreciation for both my heritage and my faith. This induction into the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame reminds me that our accomplishments are most meaningful when they are connected to something larger than ourselves. I am grateful to my family, my teammates, my coaches, and this community for this extraordinary honor.
